About Me

Welcome to my personal and very dusty Cabinet of Curiosities on the internet.

My name is Betzy, nice to meet you! Im a dog mom of two and married to my middle school sweetheart. My home is full of items I find charming and beautiful, though some people would probably disagree. Collecting vintage dust is my specialty.

“The internet” (for me) largely became 3 websites. Youtube, Instagram and Facebook. Though many pages and channels exist that fulfill my interests, it’s gotten way too easy to side track and scroll for hours, only to forget much of what I watched. It’s sort of concerning when I really think about it.

I miss the “Old Internet”, and though, it never officially “died”, it feels like it has “shrunk”, or become forgotten. I took it upon myself to learn to create and customize my own website. A “place” where I can share my interests, knowledge, and collections. A digital notebook.

Hopefully I can meet new people with similar interests as well!

Im an artist, reader, and small business owner.

Art has always been a friend to me but I struggle being loyal to it. Insecurities get the best of me and I can go long periods without creating or practicing. I mostly work with watercolour, pencil and pen.

Walking around antique stores and perusing estate sales is my favourite weekend activity. Ive turned that hobby into a business and resell on instagram. I opened “ The Order of Many Hands” in April of 2022. Recently, Ive leased a “shelf” at my local antique mall and sell there as well!
